The first year for the Shelby Mustang GT 350. Ford wanted a performance version of the Mustang and who better to do that than Carroll Shelby and his team. At first Shelby thought this was a bad idea, but Ford was insistent. So his team took a stock Mustang GT and turned it into a winning street and track race car. The son of the AC Cobra.
